Why is there a Strava logo on my video?
Every export from a ride that came through Strava has a “Powered by Strava” mark in the bottom-left corner. There’s no setting to remove it, and there isn’t going to be one.
Strava lets apps like Cycladat read your rides through its API, and the agreement that comes with that access requires attribution on anything we make with the data. Your speed, heart rate and altitude on that video came out of Strava, so the mark goes on. It’s not a marketing arrangement and we’re not paid for it. It’s the price of the data, and it’s a fair one.
The small Cycladat mark bottom-right is ours, and that one is on every export, Strava or not.
Exporting without it

computer, the data never touched Strava, so there’s nothing to attribute.
Exports from an imported ride carry only the Cycladat mark.
The catch is that Strava’s version of your ride is nicer than the raw file: the gradient is Strava’s own, and altitude has been through its correction. From a FIT file you get exactly what the computer recorded. For most rides that’s fine. Using a FIT file covers the differences, and the numbers look wrong explains why raw data looks the way it does.
Placing stickers around it
Section titled “Placing stickers around it”The two marks sit in the bottom corners. If you want a clean bottom edge, keep your stickers up the sides or across the top, or make the corner stickers small. The marks are sized to be legible and no more.
